Heir Apparent patronises military graduation

Doha: The Heir Apparent and the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani patronised the graduation ceremony of the 8th batch of Ahmed bin Mohammad Military College, held at the college’s new field yesterday.

The Heir Apparent, after  unveiling the plaque to commemorate the opening of the new field of the academy, went to the main platform where the musical band played the Qatari National Anthem .

The commander of the new graduates, standing in a column, later requested the Heir Apparent to inspect the new graduates. 

Speaking at the ceremony, Commander of the College Brigadier Hamad Ahmed Ali Al Nuaimi said that the batch comprises of 162 graduates, spread over the armed forces, police, Lekhwiya and the Emiri Guard, in addition to students from UAE and Oman.

The Heir Apparent met a number of officials from the military colleges across GCC,  Arab and friendly countries. 

A number of the ministers, senior military and police officers attended the graduation ceremony along with some commanders of military colleges in Gulf, Arab and friend countries. QNA
