Cairo--Australian journalist Peter Greste boarded a plane to Larnaca in Cyprus after Egypt ordered his deportation on Sunday following months of imprisonment, an airport official told AFP.
The Al-Jazeera English reporter, arrested in Cairo in December 2013, is expected to then travel to his home country.
