Canberra, Australia: Six people, including two children, were injured in a house fire in Queensland, Australia, and were taken to hospital Sunday morning.
Local emergency services reported that upon receiving the call, teams rushed to the scene, located more than 1,000 km northwest of the state capital, Brisbane, where several people were found inside the house. Six individuals, including two children-one of them an infant-were transported to hospital in critical condition due to life-threatening respiratory problems.
A spokesperson for the Queensland Police Service said that an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire.
