South Koreans in traditional costumes hold up burning torches with the national flag to celebrate the March 1 Independence Movement Anniversary in Cheonan, 90km south of Seoul yesterday. The country celebrates the day to mark the 1919 civilian uprising against Japanese colonial rule from 1910-1945.
