The Thai Embassy, in association with the Ministry of Culture of Thailand, organised a series of events at Al Khor Mall yesterday to promote Thai culture. A troupe of 25 performers and musicians mesmerised visitors to the mall with classical dance, masked dance, a contemporary dance, traditional martial arts and traditional dances from different parts of Thailand. There was also a display of Thai handicrafts, umbrella painting, fruit and soap carving, and silk weaving. The event was inaugurated by the ambassador of Thailand in the presence Lulu officials.
