DOHA: About 1500 people are participating in the ongoing beaches cleaning campaign being conducted by Al Wakra Municipality, officials said.
The campaign that involves cleaning up beaches by picking up rubbish and also carrying out an anti litter awareness, was organized by Al Wakra Municipality in co-operation with Qatar Petrochemical Company (QAPCO). The campaign has also attracted school students and families living in the neighbourhoods of the beaches.
