DOHA: Health and Food Inspectors at the Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning completed a second training program in food safety.
Participating inspectors who passed the theoretical and practical tests were given certificates on Sunday in presence of senior municipality officials.
The program is part of a development training program offered by the ministry to its inspectors before going into the field. The training included a series of lectures on health and food safety, methods of preparation and preservation of food, standard requirements to be meant by food establishments among others. Inspectors were also provided with field tours to a number of popular restaurants and hotels around Doha.
