Doha: Students interested in a scholarship to further their education in the US have the opportunity to meet representatives from universities and colleges during a fair on Thursday.
The American Education Expo Scholarship Fair will take place at St. Regis Hotel at Al Gassar Resort in Doha. Entry is free.
Participating universities, some of which will offer full tuition scholarships include Concordia University Wisconsin, California State University, Drexel University, Drury University, Fisher College, Full Sail University, Northampton Community College, Oklahoma City University, Penn State University, Stephen F Austin, College of Saint Rose, University of Central Florida, University of Houston and University of Michigan.
Their representatives will discuss undergraduate and graduate admissions and scholarship opportunities.
Students should bring multiple copies of report cards, transcripts, and TOEFL scores to enable representatives to determine admission and scholarship eligibility.
“The expo is a chance for potential students and parents to meet representatives.
“This is an opportunity for students to be rewarded for their achievements and hard work in high school,” said Luzia Tartari, Event Group Leader, International Student Network, the organiser of the fair.
