Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index gained 49.98 points (+0.47%) when the bourse closed trading at 10,752.10 points Wednesday.
The volume of shares traded decreased to 9,233,198 from 15,868,505 on Tuesday and the value of shares also lost to QR345,837,460.04 from QR700,867,884.36 on Tuesday.
From the 44 companies listed on QSE, shares of 40 saw trading today. From these 23 gained and 17 companies closed lower.
Indices of five sectors ended in green and one sector red today, remained one sector unchanged. QSE Total Return Index gained +0.83 to 17,600.96 points. QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index added +0.10% to 4,129.31 points and QSE All Share Index increased +0.69% to 2,986.50 points. (QNA)
