Doha, Qatar: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a telephone call from HE Lt. Gen. Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council of Sudan.
At the beginning of the call, the Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council expressed the solidarity of the Republic of Sudan and its full support for the State of Qatar following the brutal Iranian aggression.
For his part, His Highness the Amir expressed his thanks and appreciation to HE the President for the sincere feelings he expressed towards the State of Qatar, stressing the importance of Sudan’s stability and security for achieving stability in the region.
The call also included a review of developments in the security situation in the region and its implications for regional and international peace and stability, with both sides emphasizing the importance of restraint and intensifying diplomatic efforts to achieve regional security and stability.
