Doha: The Ministry of Interior has won the Golden Order of Merit in the field of social responsibility for 2013.
It was presented by the Academy of Excellence Awards in the Arab region.
The medal and a certificate of appreciation were received by Colonel Abdullah Khalifa Al Muftah, Director at the ministry, in Dubai.
The award is in recognition of the ministry’s efforts to promote social responsibility and communication in various categories of the society, including citizens and residents, and in particular, people with special needs.
Colonel Al Muftah stressed that the award will serve as a catalyst for exerting more efforts in the area.
