DOHA: Ooredoo yesterday launched a data promotion offering double the data for all new and existing Hala and Shahry Mobile Internet Pack customers for free for two months.
With the offer, Ooredoo customers will receive double the allocated data for their weekly or monthly allowance for the same price as their regular pack.
The offer has been designed to cater for next generation customers that seek to bring out the best of their smartphone’s capabilities via Ooredoo’s mobile data.
The promotion, which will run until May 31 will allow smartphone users in Qatar to stream, download, post to social media sites and transfer double the documents online at high speeds. Depending on their chosen Shahry or Hala Mobile Internet Pack, customers can sample up to 15GB worth of free data.
The offer is also available for use on Ooredoo’s bigger and faster 4G and 4G+ networks, giving customers access to superfast mobile data speeds and the smoothest browsing experience in Qatar.
Existing Shahry Mobile Internet Pack customers will get the double data automatically for two months. Hala customers will automatically receive it with every renewal May 31.
The promotion is applicable also for all new subscribers who purchase a data pack from Ooredoo’s Mobile Internet Packs (MIPs), which start from just QR15 for Hala and QR60 Shahry customers.
Hala Mobile Internet Packs come in weekly denominations of QR15 for 250MB, QR20 for 750MB, QR25 for 1500MB, QR50 for 3.75GB and QR100 for unlimited data.
Shahry Mobile Internet Packs are available at QR60 for 1GB, QR80 for 3GB, QR100 for 6GB, QR200 for 15GB and QR400 for unlimited data.
