DOHA: Ooredoo’s Go Hala! Campaign has focused on its ‘Fast Credit’ service, which ensures that customers can always stay connected.
The service, which enables customers to receive QR5 credit when their balance drops below QR1, has become a key feature for Ooredoo, as more Hala customers look for instant top-up options.
“Ooredoo is always looking for the latest ways to improve our customer service and give back to our users. Hala is the most popular prepaid service in Qatar and we are looking at ways to create more innovative service to enhance customers’ more control over their accounts,” said Fatima Sultan Al Kuwari, Director, Community and Public Relations, Ooredoo.
The company offers the top-up option when Hala customers’ main balance drops below QR1, after which they will automatically receive an SMS from Ooredoo notifying them of the option to get Fast Credit.
By replying with “Yes” to the SMS, customers are instantly credited with QR5, at the service charge of 50 dirhams. Fast credit service is only available for customers who have been with Ooredoo for more than three months.
This credit can be used for local and international calls and SMS, mobile Internet, making and receiving calls while roaming, and is valid for seven days.
The credited amount of QR5, in addition to the service charge, is automatically deducted from the customer’s next top-up.
To offer customers the chance to share their credit with loved ones and friends, Hala customers are able to make credit transfers from their mobile to any other number in Qatar with the Credit Transfer Service.
Credit is deducted from the sender’s Hala account and gifted directly to the recipients’ mobile phone accounts.
Recharging takes place in real time, with both sender and receiver immediately notified of the transaction by SMS. A service fee of 50 dirhams is charged for each credit transfer transaction. To transfer credit, customers can simply dial “*130*Recipient Number*Amount #.”
