DOHA: The Meteorology Department has forecast strong winds from today night until Friday evening.
The condition is attributed to high pressure extending from northwest of Saudi Arabia associated with fresh to strong northwesterly winds.
The wind would blow at speeds ranging between 17 — 25 KT inshore reaching 35KT at times and from 20 — 30 KT offshore reaching 38 KT at times.
The dust winds are expected to reduce the horizontal visibility. Some scattered clouds are also expected. Temperature will be at the regular range with the maximum between 30 – 32 degree Celsius and the minimum at 19 - 22 degree Celsius.
