Doha, Qatar: Qatar Football Association's (QFA) Refereeing Department held an analytical session with elite referees in preparation for the 20th round of the QNB Stars League, scheduled for Friday and Saturday.
Referees were urged by Chairperson of the Referees Committee Hani Ballan to maintain high performance during the crucial remaining matches affecting both the league's top and bottom positions.
The session included a detailed review of recent FIFA refereeing law updates presented by technical expert Valentin Ivanov, guidance on implementing them on the field, and analysis of key cases from previous rounds to enhance decision accuracy and consistency.
The initiative reflects the QFA's commitment to keeping refereeing standards aligned with global best practices.
