Indonesian police officers stand guard during the labour protests in Jakarta, Indonesia yesterday. Jakarta police spokesman Rikwanto said that, around 16,000 police and soldiers were deployed to guard the Indonesia’s capital to secure around 9,000 Indonesian workers in upcoming May Day rally protest.
