The Gulf Organisation for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) hosted a meeting with a delegation from Ningxia, China, headed by Wang Heshan, Vice Governor of the Province. Both the parties agreed on the importance of developing the Gulf-Chinese relationship in the commercial, industrial and economic areas for the benefit of both parties and to contribute to the advancement of the Gulf economy in particular.
Dr Ali bin Hamed Al Mulla, Assistant Secretary General for Industrial Projects Sector, Shamlan H O Al Jeheidli, Assistant Secretary General for Industrial Information and Studies and GOIC heads of departments received the Ningxia delegation at GOIC headquarters here.
A number of officials from the province and representatives of the economic and commercial attaché’s bureau at the Embassy of China in Qatar were members of the delegation.
Dr Al Mulla greeted the delegation and delivered a presentation about GOIC. He stated that the organisation supports any Gulf-Chinese cooperation initiative and reiterated that GOIC was ready to cooperate with Chinese counterparts to promote the Gulf industrial sector and strengthen relationships between GCC countries and China.
Meanwhile, Heshan presented an overview of the China-Arab States Expo 2017 to be held in Ningxia in September 2017.
Moreover, Al Jeheidli listed the services that GOIC could provide to guarantee the exhibition’s success, to include inviting corporations and institutions through chambers of commerce or the Federation of GCC Chambers (FGCCC).
