One killed in Afghan car bombing near Jalalabad Airport

Kabul: One person was killed and four others were injured on Thursday after a car bomb went off near Jalalabad Airport , police said.

A spokesman for governor Atallah Khojani said that a preliminary information indicated that one of the security men at the airport was killed and three civilians wounded. Another security man was also injured.

On Wednesday, a suicide attack targeted the Afghan capital of Kabul in the diplomatic area, killing 80 people and wounding 300 others.
