Doha: Qatar KMCC Kalpatta Constituent Committee, an Indian community organisation, organised an event to celebrate Eid Al Adha at Al Bida Park in Doha.
The event entitled ‘Bali Perunnal Santhosham’ brought joy to the expatriates who celebrate Eid after leaving their homeland, home and family, and became an unforgettable experience for the workers.
The event was grand with cultural songs and other activities. Bringing back memories of the Eid in homeland, the gathering was made even more delicious by our mouth-watering Wayanad Special Beef Varat and Appam.
The meeting became a platform to strengthen the bond of love between the members, share the message of Eid Ul Adha festival with each other and create more new friendships. The meeting discussed social and cultural issues. Dua was made for the bereaved parents, friends and relatives.
A memorial prayer was organised for Hanifa, youth from Kottathara, who died of a heart attack in Doha recently.
The gathering praised the Qatar KMCC Corpse Management Committee and the Kalpatta Mandalam Leaders for taking the initiative to bring the corpse homeland Wayanad within a day.
The event was attended by Qatar KMCC Kalpetta Mandalam General Secretary PK Hashir Sahib, programme convener Naser Muneer Kottathara, and others.
