Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani yesterday issued Decree No. 33 of 2013 on the state guaranteeing Qatar General Electricity and Water’s obligations arising from a water purchase agreement with Qatar Electricity and Water Company.
The Emir also issued Decree No. 34 of 2013, ratifying an agreement on the establishment of Global Green Growth Institute, signed in Rio de Janeiro on June 20 last year.
The deal will take effect in accordance with the Constitution.
All authorities, each within their competence, shall implement both decrees, which will be published in the Official Gazette. QNA
