DOHA: Qatar Exchange slightly up on Thursday, adding 1.59 points (0.39 percent) to advance to 9,706.57 points from 9,704.98 on Wednesday.
The volume of the shares increased to 9,823,625 from 13,108,630 on Wednesday and the value of shares increased to QR433,684,243.74 from QR618,405,210.39 Wednesday.
Among the top gainers were Qatar Intl. Islamic Bank which was up 0.74 percent to QR54.50, Doha Bank rose 3.55 percent to 52.50, Qatar Navigation gained 2.63 percent to QR 78.00 and National Leasing up by 1.13 percent to QR35.75 .
The Banking and Financial sector index down 0.47 points while Insurance sector index lost 1.86 points and Industrial sector down 0.38 points. (QNA)
