QIC opens new branch in Al Khor

DOHA: Qatar Insurance Company (QIC), as part of its ‘brand rejuvenation strategy’ to provide customer-friendly services, has opened a new branch at Al Khor. 

The new branch will be operating from Sundays to Thursdays from 7am to 7pm, but during Ramadan services can be availed from 9am to 2pm.

The company has recently installed several automated insurance machines (AIMs) in traffic department offices and shopping malls through which insurance products and services can be availed with a 10 percent discount. 

“QIC management has stipulated to have branches in unique locations to better cater to the clients’ needs, and alter branches inside out to convey the company’s unique and fresh image in accordance with its brand rejuvenation strategy,” a press statement said.

The new branch is located on the main Al Khor road after Lulu Hypermarket, focusing on the highest standards of customer service and providing a complete range of insurance services and products.

The inauguration was attended by senior QIC officials, and other dignitaries from Al Khor city and well-wishers. 

Group President and CEO, Khalifa Al Subaey, said: “QIC’s presence in Al Khor is not a coincidence. It is a measure of determination that the company has to correspondingly mark another milestone in pursuing excellence in service and Al Khor city is a definite best choice to demonstrate it.
