Doha: As many as 53 players will represent Qatar at the fifth Asian Indoor Games to be held in Turkmenistan’s capital Ashgabat from September 17 to 27.
Athletes from 22 countries will compete in 21 various individual and team disciplines.
T head of the Qatari delegation Ibrahim Shams said Qatar are prepared to participate in the Asian Games and were eyeing a good show in the multi-sporting gala.
He informed that Qatar will participate in different competitions including like swimming, basketball, equestrian and hurdling.
