Doha: The Qatar Goodwood Festival presented by Visit Qatar concluded after a week of outstanding racing, cultural celebration, and strategic dialogue, further reinforcing Qatar's commitment to international sporting excellence and bilateral cooperation with the United Kingdom.

The festival reached its conclusion with the Group 2 Qatar Lillie Langtry Stakes on Saturday 1 August, which featured a competitive field of high-quality fillies, combining proven older runners with rapidly improving three-year-olds over the 1m6f distance. Victory went to Goodie Two Shoes, under Jockey Dylan Browne McMonagle, for Trainer Joseph O'Brien. The trophy was presented by His Grace Charles Henry Gordon-Lennox, The Duke of Richmond, bringing the curtain down on another unforgettable Qatar Goodwood Festival presented by Visit Qatar.

The five-day festival brought together some of the finest talent in world racing, with the Al Shaqab Goodwood Cup, the Visit Qatar Sussex Stakes, the Qatar International Stakes, the Qatar Nassau Stakes and the King George Qatar Stakes all delivering compelling contests across the week.

Beyond the track, Visit Qatar once again brought the spirit of Qatar to West Sussex through an interactive experience designed to showcase Qatar’s hospitality, unique culture, and tourism offerings to international festivalgoers.

The interactive Visit Qatar pavilion welcomed festival visitors by showcasing Qatar’s tourism attractions, while offering traditional Qatari hospitality and a selection of distinctive local flavours curated by renowned Qatari chef Salman Al-Jaida. Immersive visual elements throughout the space highlighted Qatar’s diverse tourism offerings, using striking imagery and compelling storytelling to inspire travel and bring the destination to life.

Visit Qatar's exclusive naming and ownership rights across the festival's key races served to spotlight the country's rich equestrian heritage and its positioning as a global destination for world-class events.
