PARIS: Six people were dead after an explosion occurred inside an apartment building in Rosny-sous-Bois outside Paris.
Eleven people, four of them seriously wounded, were rescued.
The French Interior minister Bernard Cazeneuve said the explosion appeared to have been caused by a gas leak.
The minister called on the public to stay prudent while investigations are ongoing.
Preliminary information indicate that four people were dead and 11 others were injured in the explosion. (QNA)
