Monaco: Monaco confirmed the departures of four players as they sought to trim their squad on transfer deadline day in Europe, with Ivan Cavaleiro's sale to Wolverhampton Wanderers leading the way.

Portugal under-21 cap Cavaleiro signed a five-year deal at Molineux in the English second tier with the transfer fee estimated to be in the region of nine million euros (£7.6 million, $10 million).

Meanwhile, out-of-favour Brazilian striker Vagner Love left the principality after just seven months at the Stade Louis II, signing a two-year contract with Turkish side Alanyaspor.

DR Congo international defender Marcel Tisserand moved to German Bundesliga outfit Ingolstadt for a fee reportedly in the region of five million euros.

The 23-year-old, who spent the past two seasons on loan at Toulouse, started in Monaco's 1-0 win over Nantes earlier this month but was unlikely to feature regularly in Leonardo Jardim's side.

He had previously been linked to Saint-Etienne.

Later Monaco allowed Nigerian international left-back Elderson Echiejile, 28, to join Standard Liege of Belgium on a season-long loan.
