Islamabad: Chairman of the Senate of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan H E Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani met with Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Islamic Republic Pakistan H E Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani.
During the meeting, both parties reviewed relations between the two countries. During the meeting, the ambassador also expressed Qatar’s condolences to the victims of the floods that swept several regions in Pakistan, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.
The Chairman of the Pakistani Senate expressed his thanks and appreciation to Qatar and its wise leadership for providing urgent relief support to those affected by the floods. He stressed that Qatar is always proactive in extending a helping hand to Pakistan in every calamity.
