DOHA: The Indian embassy has increased the fee slabs for various services, including passport issuance and renewal as well as for issuing police clearance certificates. The new fee structure comes into force from today, an embassy statement said yesterday. According to the statement, the fee slabs have been reviewed after a little more than a decade due to escalating costs by the Indian government. The last time the fees were reviewed was in March 2002.
