DOHA: Katara will open a new cultural centre with hotel, residential villas and an international library, among other services, Al Sharq daily reported.
Katara is preparing to build a big international library, which will be the first of its kind in the Middle East. It will be a huge development project that will include an edifice for commercial offices, a hotel and residential villas. There will also be buildings for cultural associations and centres, like the Doha Film Institute and the Qatar Academy for Music, a cultural centre for children and Gulf Radio.
Katara’s project is the first of this kind in the region as the whole development will be based on cultural aspects.
