DOHA: The Public Works Authority, Ashghal, has announced two minor changes to traffic diversions on Dukhan Highway between the interchanges at Al Wajba and Al Sheehaniya. The changes, to be implemented from tomorrow, cover the re-alignment of Dukhan-bound traffic for approximately a kilometre immediately west of Al Wajba interchange.
The revised diversion will last for 12 months to allow construction work to be undertaken as part of Ashghal’s plan to improve the Dukhan highway between Al Rayyan Stadium Roundabout and Sheehaniya Interchange.
Ashghal has appealed to all road users to abide by the speed limit of 80km per hour on this diversion and to obey traffic instructions and signboards. Speed cameras will be in operation over this section of the traffic diversion.
