Doha: Hamad International Training Centre (HITC) honoured over 50 representatives from the media and healthcare  sectors and corporate executives for their contribution to the success of its National Health and Safety initiative, Kulluna.
HITC Director and Chairman of the Kulluna organising committee, Dr Khalid Abdulnoor Saifeldeen, led senior healthcare staff and ConocoPhillips Qatar executives in honouring the contributors at a celebratory event held at Sharq Village and Spa on Monday night.
Speaking at the event, Dr Saifeldeen said, “This event celebrates the second anniversary of the Kulluna initiative launched in September 2012. I thank journalists from all forms of media for disseminating messages of Kalluna over the last two years on improving health, well-being and safety of our community in Qatar.”
He presented certificates and mementoes to editors, reporters, photographers, videographers, advertising and marketing staff from Al Sharq, Al Watan, Gulf Times, Qatar Tribune, public relations Agency222 and other magazines.
Kulluna, Arabic word for ‘all of us’, campaigns to change behaviour and habits to improve health and safety. Its activities take many forms as its messages need to reach as wide an audience as possible, said Dr Saifeldeen.
“Soon after its launch in 2012, we rebranded Kulluna to make a greater impact on various audiences. Its new visual language is a direct interpretation of the ‘Multiplier’ concept. It is organic, fluid and timeless beyond the trendy. The Kulluna brand is constantly adapting and growing,” he added.
