Six handicap junior Doha Golf Club member Mikkel Mathiesen was victorious in the recent Megarme Summer League Stableford. His score of 39 points ensured he won Division A by a single point. The Stableford format was contested on Friday and a total of 105 golfers braved the tricky conditions caused by heat and gusting wind. Junior golfers fared exceptionally well in the event with three out of the four flight winners being juniors. Mathiesens score of 39 points won him first place from Siegfried Sariowan. Tim Miller was first in Flight B with a fabulous score of 41 points. Flight C was won by junior member Yanis Cherif with a huge score of 42 points. Junior member Nada Mir was victorious in the Ladies Flight with a score of 34 points.
