Race to the top hots up at Qatar Stars League

Doha: Eljaish and Lekhwiya will both seek the victory that would take them back to the top of the Qatar Stars League (QSL).
The third and fourth place teams clash in the seventh round matches of the 14-team league today at Lekhwiya Stadium.
Eljaish go into the match with  12 points against thier name from six matches, while the two-time QSL champions have one point less from the same number of matches.
In today’s other matches,  Al Khor take on Umm Salal, at Al Khor Stadium, while  Al Wakra take on  Al Sailiya at their home ground.
Both, Al Wakra and  Al Sailiya have 12 points from six matches.
“This is very important match for us. Both of us have 12 points. The only difference is the goals, the same with Eljaish,” said Adnan Derjal, coach of Al Wakra.
Tomorrow, Al Kharaitiyat clash with Al Rayyan at Al Khor Stadium, while Qatar SC face Al Ahli, Qatar SC Stadium.
In two other matches, Muaither SC square to Al Arabi, at Al Gharafa Stadium and Al Gharafa will challenge defending champions Al Sadd at Al Gharafa Stadium.The Peninsula
