DOHA: Ooredoo yesterday announced a new promotion with its Hala Bangladesh Key offering 15 dirhams (Dhs) per minute/message for calls and SMS to the country for one month.
The promotion, which will run until 26 December 2014, will enable subscribers to benefit from the price discount on calls and SMS for just QR2 per week.
Previously, customers subscribed the service were eligible to take advantage of the reduced rate of just 20Dhs per minute.
To subscribe, Hala customers simply need to SMS ‘BAN’ to 121. The subscription will be automatically renewed weekly, as long as customers have the QR 2 subscription fee on their mobile credit balance. To cancel the service customers can SMS ‘STOP BAN’ to 121.
The Hala Bangladesh Key was launched early this year following high demand from the approximated 130,000 Bangladeshi migrant workers in the country.
