ATHENS: One person died and at least five more were injured when an explosion rocked a fast-food store in central Athens on Thursday.
A woman -- reported to be a 42-year-old employee of the shop in Victoria Square -- was found dead in the basement of the premises.
Five people were transferred to hospital. Their conditions are not thought to be lift-threatening.
Police roped off the area near the blast site and are investigating, but have said the explosion was likely caused by a leaking propane tank.
Minor damage was also caused to nearby shops and vehicles.
