Doha: Big-budget Indian regional language movie Marakkar: Lion of the Arabian Sea will have close to 300 shows in Doha Cinemas over the weekend starting today, December 1, 2021.
The movie, releasing in Malayalam and Tamil, has already entered the 100 crore (1000 million) club, through just reservations, even before its release.
Movie-ticket booking website in the country showed that, on Wednesday, December 1, the Malayalam movie has 56 shows with the first show being at 9:30pm. And on Thursday, Friday and Saturday there are 95, 82 and 64 shows respectively. There are more shows listed throughout the week taking it nearly 500 shows in a week.
The Tamil version of the movie has three shows on December 2 and 4 at Villagio.
Produced by Antony Perumbavoor, the movie has a stellar cast with Mohanlal in the lead. It also includes Pranav Mohanlal, Arjun, Sunil Shetty, Prabhu, Manju Warrier, Suhasini playing prominent roles.
