H E Sheikh Ahmed bin Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, Advisor to the Minister of Culture, and Hazaa Al Barari, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Culture of Jordan, with other officials during their visit to Darb Al Saai.
Doha: Secretary General of the Ministry of Culture of Jordan Hazaa Al Barari yesterday visited Darb Al Saai in Umm Salal.
During a tour accompanied by H E Sheikh Ahmed bin Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, Adviser to the Minister of Culture, he was briefed on the heritage and cultural activities such as Al Bidda that express the Qatari maritime heritage, Al Adab, Al Muqattar and traditional home that show the land heritage in Qatar.
Al Barari also visited a number of art exhibitions and workshops presented by Liwan Art. He lauded the events and activities of Darb Al Saai, because of their strong relationship with the Qatari heritage, the authentic Arab heritage, and the heritage atmosphere it provides for families of all ages and groups, in addition to the general artistic, cultural and entertainment activities. Al Barari said that Darb Al Saai is fantastic place where visitors can learn about the various pillars of Qatari heritage as well as traditional crafts and folk games.
