Aloris Dias, a social science teacher at Ideal Indian School, has won the School of Educators (SOE) Global Education Award. The award cited him as ‘Inspirational Teacher of the Year.’ Dias received the award from HS Brahma, chief election commissioner of India, and K Srikanth, former Indian cricketer, in the presence of Vineet Joshi, chairman of Central Board of Secondary Education, at a ceremony in New Delhi. Forty-four awards were given to 33 educators from different parts of the world.
