Independent services for citizens vital

It is not new for our wise leadership to grant bonus to loyal people to improve their living standards and welfare.
The rulers of this country have had this generosity from beginning.
The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, may Allah protect him, has ordered free allocation of shares of Mesaieed Petrochemical Holding Company for people with special needs and those covered by the social security scheme.
These are all graces Allah has bestowed on this country, so we all must thank Him by word and deed.
It is known that our high command takes seriously proposals made through the media and promises constructive decisions and measures.
To help citizens complete their paperwork at government offices quickly, without having to wait for a long time in long queues outside offices, I suggest the authorities concerned set up separate counters for citizens in the Traffic Department, ministries and other public organisations, including technical inspection centre for cars, OPD, health centres and others.
Separate counters will provide citizens with high quality services in no time. They will also help reduce pressure on employees and conflicts between them and visitors.
Employees will not be able to misuse powers and will become more disciplined.
The move will also help create job opportunities for citizens and serve public interests in all sectors of the country.
Citizens have the right to get the required services in their country easily and conveniently. This is not racism or prejudice. It is important to note that based on the Emir’s directive, the State Cabinet has ordered all authorities concerned to provide quick services to citizens.
If some attention is paid to my suggestion and citizens have their own service centres, other things can follow. For example, we can also dedicate service centres to citizens from other GCC countries and people from other countries.
