DOHA: Patients with orthopaedic problems will be able to consult experts from the UK from today until January 6 at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC).
Two orthopaedic surgeons from the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust will visit HMC and patients are advised to contact the Outpatient Department on 44384874 or 44384803 for appointments.
Dr Hilali Noordeen, Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon, will have clinics today and January 5 at HMC’s Bone and Joint Institute, Orthopaedic Surgery Section. He will conduct surgeries on Friday and Saturday. .
Professor Tim Briggs, an expert in bone and soft tissue sarcoma, will hold a clinic on January 5 and conduct surgery on January 6.
Hosting visiting physicians and surgeons is part of HMC’s continuing effort to enable patients to benefit from top specialist expertise locally instead of having to travel abroad for specialised care.
