Doha: Qatar participated in the 32nd session of the Regional Conference for the Near East of the UN Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO) in Rome.
Qatar’s delegation to the meeting was led by Minister of Environment H E Ahmed bin Amer Al Humaidi. On the sidelines of the conference, the Minister met the FAO Director-General Jose Graziano da Silva.
FAO Regional Conference is an official forum where ministers of agriculture and top officials of member states from the same geographic region meet to elaborate, beyond the borders of the individual countries, on challenges and priority matters related to food and agriculture.
