Lausanne--Global powers battling to seal a deal with Iran over its controversial nuclear programme called a press event on Thursday, raising hopes for a possible breakthrough in the marathon talks.
There was no time given for the presser, though European Union negotiators said journalists should make their way to a university conference centre in Lausanne "as soon as possible."
