Doha: Qatar expressed condolences and sympathy to the Turkish government and people on the death of Public Prosecutor Mehmet Selim Kiraz who died of wounds after being held as hostage by gunmen.
In a statement yesterday, the Foreign Ministry expressed Qatar’s sympathy and solidarity with the Turkish government and people and with the family of the deceased, who was the victim of the criminal act.
The ministry also expressed strong disapproval of such actions which contradict humanitarian values and principles and aim to destabilise security and terrorise innocent people. QNA
