Lucknow: Congress president Sonia Gandhi yesterday ridiculed BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi on his overzealousness and said he was behaving as if were already in office. Addressing an election rally at Faizabad, 125km from here, Gandhi said Modi was suffering from “power fever” and was in haste to act as prime minister without waiting for the election results, which are due on May 16.
“Modi is giving an impression as if the election results are out and he is sitting on the throne,” Gandhi said.
