A former Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) MNA Akhunzada Chattan survived an assassination attempt in Bajaur Agency on Saturday.
The former MNAs bullet-proof vehicle was destroyed in the attack while his brother was injured.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif condemning the attack said networks of terrorists have been destroyed. He added that terrorists were on the run after Operation Zarb-e-Azb.
