Community members, students and officials at the event held at the embassy of Sri Lanka.
Doha: Sri Lankan Coordinating Committee (SLCC) Qatar recently presented appreciation certificates to community members who participated in the community activities during the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2021.
The members were recognised for their contribution to activities at the Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor.
The certificates were presented at the Embassy by Sumudu Wilpatha, First Secretary/Head of Chancery, Embassy of Sri Lanka.
Also present were SLCC President Tenison de Silva; General Secretary Lenny Cramer; choreographers Inoka Lasanthi Munindradasa and Iresha Thenuwara; Sri Lankan Community Benevolent Fund President Ranjith Gurusinghe; Sri Lankan Business Council President Roshan Balasooriya and SLCC member Aruna Ruwan Kumara.
