Providing an opportunity for students to translate the knowledge and skills acquired during their lessons, the Islamic Studies department of Qatar Academy organised ‘Think and Manage’ exhibition in the senior school campus recently.
The exhibition was divided into two sections and the first section included many models and paintings on the provisions of life in Islam and a presentation explaining the stages of the creation of mankind, including some related theories and the spread of love and peace.
The second section of the exhibition included many paintings and posters under the title “Discover Islam”. These paintings expressed the facts about the Islamic religion, by clarifying the pillars of Islam and its vision about equality of all human beings, their rights as well as the respect for other religions.
Yasser Ibrahim Islamic Department Academic Coordinator, praised the efforts of the students, saying that “this is the second year in a row, that the Islamic Department have organized this exhibition and I feel that as each year passes the students’ awareness and understanding of the teachings of their religion increases through the work they create and then display. ”
