Doha: Qatar and Kyrgyzstan yesterday signed an agreement on the avoidance of double taxation and prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to income tax.
It was inked by the Minister of Finance H E Ali Shareef Al Emadi and Kyrgyz Minister of Economy Temir Sariev. It aims to avoid double payment of taxes in both countries and increase cooperation in the economic and investment fields and financial exchanges.
The ceremony was attended by Sariev’s delegation and senior officials of the Finance Ministry. QNA
