Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) main index lost 120.94 points, or 1.20 percent last week when the bourse closed yesterday at 9,939.58 points.
Trading value during last week increased by 27.28 percent to reach QR1.58bn compared to QR1.24bn.
Trading volume increased by 30.22 percent to reach 61,834,181 shares, as against 47,484,644 shares, while the number of transactions rose by 15.34 percent, to reach 16,995 transactions as compared to 14,735 transactions.
Market cap fell by 1.88 percent to reach QR530.70bn as compared to QR540.86bn at the end of previous week.
Banking and Financial Services sector led traded value last week with 47.67 percent of the total traded value. Real Estate sector accounted for 15.73 percent. Industries sector accounted for 10.70 percent and Telecoms sector accounted for 9.90 percent.
Banking and Financial Services sector led traded volume this week accounted for 41.99 percent of the total trading volume. Real Estate sector accounted for 27.61 percent. Telecoms sector accounted for 18.89 percent and Transportation sector accounted 5.25 percent. Banking and Financial Services sector led traded number of transactions this week with 35.68 percent of the total number of transactions. Real Estate sector accounted for 26.97 percent.
