Doha: The Advisory Council expressed great pride and appreciation to the Father Emir H H Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, who had adopted during his rule a wise and balanced policy that had the greatest impact in maintaining the stability of the country.
“HH the Father Emir was also keen to provide a decent life for the citizens of this nation and to secure their future. Due to his sharp vision, the Father Emir enabled Qatar to have a deserved status and reinforced its position at the international level. We pray the Almighty Allah to maintain his health and wellbeing,” the statement released by the council said.
The council also put confidence in the wise leadership of the Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, who had been actively participating in the development of Qatar while he was assuming office as the Heir Apparent.
“The Emir has exerted great efforts along with HH the Father Emir to take Qatar to the high status which it had reached position. He has a sharp vision and full awareness of the state’s internal and external affairs and he is the best successor to the best predecessor.
“We firmly believe that Qatar will achieve in his era, with the help of Allah, further achievements in various fields and that would lead to further progress and prosperity of our loyal people and would enhance the privileged position that our state had reached,” the statement said.
Advisory Council Speaker H E Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khulaifi chaired the meeting.
